Hello Polska is a free information portal for foreigners of any nationality living, working, studying or doing business in Poland, explaining the rules of everyday life in Poland (legal residence, ZUS, taxes, NFZ, government offices, and more) in plain English, based on official sources such as gov.pl. We also offer a paid "Understand a Letter" feature.

Hello Polska is not a government body, a law firm, or a licensed tax or immigration adviser. The information on the portal and the document explanations are for general information only — they are not legal, tax, or immigration advice. If your situation needs that kind of advice, contact the appropriate licensed professional (e.g. an immigration adviser, a lawyer/attorney, a doradca podatkowy — a licensed Polish tax adviser — or free legal aid for foreigners).

Articles, categories, and search are entirely free and require no registration or payment details. We try to keep the information current and grounded in official sources, but we don't guarantee it is complete or stays accurate at every moment — the law changes. Always check the official source linked in the article.

• The service is available in three tiers: Basic (59.99 zł) — the document explanation only; Extended (89.99 zł) — the explanation plus specific next steps; Premium (129.99 zł) — the explanation, next steps, and a ready-to-send draft reply in Polish based on the client's own words. You choose the tier before paying.
• Before payment, we check that the document is readable enough to analyse — if it isn't, no payment is required and you can try again with a different photo.
• The price includes one follow-up question about the document you had analysed.
• In the Premium tier, the draft reply is built strictly from the facts and decisions the client provides — we never suggest a strategy or legal arguments, we only put the client's own words into correct, formal Polish. This feature is not available for documents concerning residence/immigration status, tax disputes, court cases, criminal matters, or enforcement proceedings — for those categories we only show the explanation and point you toward professional help.
• The explanation is based strictly on the content of the document you provided and publicly available official information. We never invent amounts, dates, or facts — if something can't be determined from the document, we say so directly.
• The original document is automatically deleted once the analysis is complete (see our Privacy Policy).

Payments are processed by Stripe. If a technical error on our end means you didn't receive your document explanation despite paying, contact us and we'll refund you. We don't offer refunds where the explanation was provided correctly, even if your situation later turns out to be more complex than the document itself suggested.

Hello Polska makes every effort to keep its information and explanations accurate, but is not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of the portal's content or a document explanation. For matters with significant legal, financial, or immigration consequences, we always recommend contacting the appropriate licensed professional.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page always shows the last update.
